Landforce
Specifications: Working together with Hayne Industries (an Australian engineering company based in Moree, NSW) to develop a planting solution called 'Landforce'. The Landforce tyne gives uniform soil coverage with reduced operating pressures. Coupled with a unique control system powered by Sauer-Danfoss, Landforce stretches the planting window for both contoured country and on the plains, with a curved shank and optimized parallelogram.
- Optimized tyne parallelogram ensures consistent soil coverage and compaction
- Exceptional moisture seeking ability
- Control and monitor the angle of the point as well as tyne pressure from within the cab
- Individual isolation taps - Switching to summer cropping is as easy as turning a tap
- 4 Stage spanner-less press wheel depth adjustment
- 2.5” Double Acting Cylinders
- Self Lubricating Bushes
- 18” Manutec Press Wheels
- 20mm Bisalloy High Tensile Shank
Control with ease...
Optimal trench formation is achieved by running the lower face of the point at approximately 15 degrees above horizontal. This reduces the horse power needed to pull the point through the ground and reduces smearing on the bottom of the trench and soil throw out. By adjusting the tyne pressure and underframe clearance this can be maintained and monitored from within the cab.
A gauge located on the display indicates how closely the point is to this angle, and the need to adjust either the pressure or the underframe clearance to achieve optimal performance of your machine.
The control system of all Landforce planters is powered by Sauer-Danfoss PLUS+1 control panels in conjunction with heavy duty ultrasonic proximity switches.
Winter/Summer Versatility
Landforce planters are designed for the whole season. Be it faber beans sorghum, chick peas or wheat.
Each tyne is fitted with an isolation tap and double acting cylinders. When switching to summer cropping or fertilizing, simply raise all tynes, turn off the tynes not used, and start planting.

CMI Water
Specifications: Design, fabrication, construction, commissioning and installation were provided to CMI WATER as part of Beasleys service package.
The brief for the machine was to provide several functions that were variable through electronic control, thus enabling the operator to fine tune the performance of the machine, and thus provide a better end product.
Tea Machine
Specifications:
45 Hp @ 2500 rpm
Weight 4000 kg
6 wheel drive
Combination skid steer/8wheel steer
Functions - Spray Prune Fertilise
Airconditioned cab
Variable speed drive
The unit was developed as a concept by Laurie Davies, CEO James Findlay Uganda to prove the viability of several different functions. As headland clearance was at a minimum, the machine was designed to turn in it's own length through the use of both the skid steer ability and turning the front and rear 2 sets of wheels.
Ground compaction was also an issue of importance. Tests were carried out on total machine weight and individual ground pressure / wheel.

Bundaberg Sugar
A project for Bundaberg Sugar. The project required that a system be implemented that would allow the control of the moving of cane carriages. The system involved a series of drive tyres powered by hydraulic motors, all engaged and disengaged by two power units. The system could control the direction of the carriages as well as giving the ability to act as a brake.
